YES (week 25)

Yes: used to give an affirmative response.

Why is yes such a profound word?  The implications of it, of course.  We inadvertently say, Yes and No, to several hundred things on any given day.  While you might not directly say NO to something, by saying yes to another there is an implied no.  Vice versa.

What does this have to do with yoga? Everything.  It is my goal to encourage students to say YES to stepping outside their comfort zones to encourage expansion, and NO to forcing their body into something without proper alignment just because they want to make a shape.  It’s a YES and NO dance.  Honoring your YES and trusting your gut is the key.
